Each year without the hard work of the CSAHA members we could not accomplish we do for the youth hockey players in our area. This year we have several opportunities that we are looking to fill. These positions are in three unique areas.

Ticket Window Attendant – This position is for the RMJHL Pikes Peak Miners games at Sertich Ice Center. The Miners have about 20 – 22 home games for the most part on Friday and Saturday nights. This position will involve selling tickets at the door, allowing entry to season tickets holders and dealing with cash and credit sales. This position is paid at the rate of $50 per game. Contact us at scheduler@csaha.com if you are interested or want to talk more. This position can be filled by multiple people if one person cannot do all the games.

Broadmoor World Arena Overtime Staff - Have you ever sat in the stands at a college or professional hockey game and thought it would be cool to be part of the ice maintenance team?
The Broadmoor World Arena is looking for 6 people on a regular basis, and would like to have a pool of 10-12 people, that would help shovel the ice after the 3rd Period, should the game go into overtime.
A couple of notes:

  • The crew would be needed should overtime occur.
  • The crew would receive 6 tickets to each game (one per person).
  • All applicants must know how to skate well.
  • The crew would need to start heading down to work with 7 minutes to go in the 3rd Period to give them time to put on their skates, get their equipment and receive any instruction.
  • A crew of 18 yrs. of age or older is preferred.
  • Applicants must be strong enough to push shovels full of snow. The blade size on the shovels used during games is 2-3 times bigger than a regular snow shovel.
  • A group training session prior to the season will occur and is mandatory for all participants.

If you are interested, let me know at scheduler@csaha.com and I will compile a list and pass it on to the World Arena staff.

Thank you all and have a great season.
