Colorado Springs U18 Tiger Knutson signs Tender

The Colorado Springs AAA Tigers, a member of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that U18 Zaccheaus Knutson has signed a tender with the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL.

Knutson, a 1998 forward and a first year Tiger is originally from Tea, South Dakota.

"I am very excited and humbled by this experience and the opportunity to move to the next level. I would like to thank my family, teammates and coaches for supporting me. I am looking forward to continuing to grow as a player and person."

Head U16 coach Cody Campbell describes “having played for coach Madsen in college, I know the high paced and hard style of hockey he likes to play. Zac will fit that style of play extremely well. Coach Madsen and the Wilderness are committed to winning championships and producing D1 players. I am excited for Zac and the opportunity he will have to develop and further his hockey career with the Wilderness."

Coach Holmstrom adds that "Zac has grown a lot both on and off the ice since joining our program, and I am confident he will be ready to make an impact with the Wilderness club."

"Zac is one of those guys that players like to play with. His high compete level and ability to make plays makes everyone around him better. I am excited for him and his future with the Wilderness and beyond.”
