Your Pikes Peak Miners JR. U20, CSAHA Tigers U18 AAA and CSAHA Tigers U16 AAA will all be in action Sunday September 18 at Sertich Ice Center. This is a great opportunity to get out and see some of our clubs top players compete in early season action and support our players as they prepare for the opening of each teams seasons.

CSAHA’s very own Pikes Peak Miners opened camp this week and look to get busy early on. Head coach Nick Harper and his team, the RMJHL 2015/2016 regular season champions have retooled their roster and are looking to build off a very successful inaugural season. The Miners are preparing for a season opening trip to Steamboat for league play Sept 30.

The U18 Tigers AAA team will take on the Pikes Peak Miners U20 Jr team in a preseason match up as both teams work through conditioning and special teams play. The game is set for a 3 pm start at Sertich. The U18s look to build on a great training camp and play a high tempo and exciting brand of hockey. The teams talent and depth have coach Holmstrom setting goals high as the team continues to work. Both teams will be looking to get off to a great start in the coming days with the Tigers traveling to Blaine, Mn. next week for it opening NAPHL showcase weekend Sept 22-25.

The U16 Tigers AAA team will take on the Evolution at 5 pm in the second game of a home and home weekend for the 16s in CAHA league play. The 16s boast new head coach and former CSAHA player Cody Campbell and his squad looks to establish itself early in the season with a very talented roster. The U16’s opened training camp Aug 16 and have been working hard to set the tone for a very successful season. The team will also test its talents as it travels to Blaine, Mn and opens NAPHL action Sept 22 against Thunder Bay, Ont.
