Tigers Well Represented at Colorado Girls State Camp

Thirteen current and former Tiger girls hockey players participated in the Colorado State Camp on March 24th and 25th at the Family Sports Center in Centennial, CO.

The State Camp is a selection camp for Colorado resident players born in 2000, 2001, 2002 or 2003 who would like the opportunity to skate against high level players from their birth year and want to be selected to move on to the Girls Multi-District District Player Development/Evaluation Camp, which will be held from June 10th to 14th at Colorado College.

The Tiger girls’ contingent was led by 6 members of the Tigers 19U AA team, who recently won the Rocky Mountain District championship and will head to the USA Hockey National Championship tournament in Troy, MI from April 6th to 9th. Goaltender Katy Cooley (2001) was joined at the camp by teammates MeiLan Haberl (2000), Mackenzie Dudevoir (2000), Cecilia Knight (2001), Milly Mollica (2001), and Hailey Boyle (2001).

Four members of the Tigers 14U AA team skated at the camp: Abbey Kelleher (2002), Tori Bevan (2003), Rylee Colson (2003) and Drea Williams (2003).

The current Tigers were joined at the camp but 3 Tiger alums: Chloe Beaubien (20001), Celinka Pietraszek (2001) and Ellie Reiter (2002).
