With a record of 2-1 in the preliminaries, the Tigers advanced to the championship game against a strong Jr. Lady Buffs.  The Jr. Lady Buffs had only allowed one goal going into the finals against the Tigers.  The Tigers defeated the Jr. Lady Buffs 5-1 to win the 2017 State Championship.

The Tigers 12U Girls team won the 2017 State Championship with a strong team effort over the championship weekend.  The Tigers were never the bigger team this season but we won by being faster, stronger and smarter.  The State Championship was a team effort with five Tigers scoring in the tournament; Anika, Merrill, Nicola, Sofia and Sydney.  9 Tigers had assist; Anika, Callie, Lena, Lizie, Nicola, Merrill, Sydney, Sofia and Zoe.  Our two goalies, Maizie and Victoria, only allowed 6 goals in the tournament which tied them for fewest goals allowed.  The strong goals against average was led by the Tiger defense; Alysa, Callie, Caroline, Delaney, Lena and Zoe.
