Squirt B Wins CAHA State Championship!
After going 2-1 in the preliminary round, the Squirt B Tigers won their semi-final and championship game to take the 2017 State Championship title!
The Tigers lost their opening game to the Colorado Evolution 3-2, and then defeated Summit 2-1 and Hyland Hills 1-0 to earn a berth in the semi-final round. Defeating the Colorado Rampage 1-0 moved the Tiger team into the championship game.
Facing the Evolution, the team they lost to in their opening game, the Tigers played their best hockey of the year. After going down 2-1 in the second period, the Tigers netted four unanswered goals on their way to a dominating 5-2 victory. Havens, Ehn, Cannon and O'Brien all scored goals in the contest and Pingrey stopped 14 of 16 shots in the win.
