Tigers Announce Hiring of Cody Ayers

Colorado Springs, CO – Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey proudly announces the hiring of Cody Ayers as its’ Assistant Director – Tier Hockey Operations.  Originally from Colorado Springs, Cody played in juniors, college and ultimately in the pro ranks.  He most recently served as the Assistant Coach on the Tigers 18U and 16U Tier I teams.

“We are looking forward to a local guy coming back to the program and helping develop our up and coming players.  Cody has a clear understanding of what it takes to progress from youth hockey to the junior and collegiate ranks, and ultimately earn the opportunity to play professional Hockey”, said CSAHA Executive Director Brian Copeland.  “All of our Tier I and Tier II players and coaches will benefit from the opportunity to work with Cody on a daily basis.”

“This is a special and unique opportunity for me to give back to the game and association that I grew up in”, said Cody Ayers.  “I look forward to growing and developing this program and creating a culture that can give players the tools that they need to succeed at the next level.  I am thankful for the opportunity that Brian has given me and to work with so many amazing people!”

The Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Tier I teams compete in the North American Prospects Hockey League which is operated by the North American Hockey League.
