Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey announces the hiring of Cody Campbell as its 16U AAA Head Coach.  Originally from Colorado Springs, Cody played in the local Tier I program before playing for Fargo and Cedar Rapids in the Junior A Tier I United States Hockey League.  Cody also played for the U18 Unites States squad in the International Ivan Hlinka Tournament, before playing Division I College hockey for Niagara University.

“Cody brings a wealth of knowledge to our staff having played and coached at the level our players hope to ascend to”, said CSAHA Executive Director Brian Copeland.  “Having grown up in Colorado Springs, Cody knows the Colorado hockey landscape and knows what it takes to progress to the Junior A and collegiate ranks”, said Copeland.  Cody most recently spent two years in the North American Hockey League, the United States Junior A Tier II league, as an assistant coach and assistant general manager with Odessa and Janesville.

The Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Tier I teams compete in the North American Prospects Hockey League which is operated by the North American Hockey League.

“Building upon the rich tradition of success and player advancement is what I look forward to the most” Campbell said.  “I am honored to be able to come back and coach a program that put me on the map as player.  I had such an incredible experience in CSAHA and I want our players to be able to say the same thing when they move on from our program to junior hockey.”
