Bantam B Claims Title at Littleton Slapshot Tournament

The Jr. Tiger Bantam B team went 6-0 and outscored their opponents 38-6 en route to winning the 2015 Littleton Slapshot Tournament.

In the Preliminary round the Tigers defeated the KC Stars 3-1, DNHL 5-0, Cherry Creek 8-1 and Hyland Hills 13-0.  In the semi finals the Tigers beat GMF 6-2 off of two goals each for Kyle Moore and Andrew Burton and a goal each for Max Schultz and Kyle Martinaitis.

In an exciting championship game, the Tigers scored two goals (Moore and Wark) in 20 seconds late in the third period to force the game into overtime.  After a scoreless overtime period, the Tigers went on to win the game in a shootout.

Across the entire tournament, 15 different Tigers found their way onto the scoresheet and the Tiger net minders Eric Buchholz (0.85 GAA) and Chloe Beaubien (1.00 GAA) gave stellar performances shutting down their opponents.
