Tigers Hockey Welcomes Shaun Hathaway to AAA Staff!

Tigers Hockey is happy to announce Shaun Hathaway as the 2020-2021 14U AAA Head Coach.  "We are extremely happy to have Shaun as part of our coaching and administrative staff" said Brian Copeland, Tigers Hockey Executive Director.  "Shaun brings a high level of professionalism to our club and we look forward to the impact he can have on our 14U AAA team."

A native of Colorado Springs, Shaun Hathaway returns home after serving as the Executive Director of Aspen Junior Hockey for the past seven seasons.  Prior to his time in Aspen, Hathaway worked as a Director for the Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association, managing 14U-18U recreational and Tier-2 programming.  He has served as a Head Coach for the the CSAHA Pikes Peak Miners 15U and 18U AAA teams, an Assistant Coach for the Sioux Fall Stampede (USHL), and a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Miami RedHawks (NCAA).  For fifteen consecutive years (2000-2015), Hathaway worked as a regional USA Hockey coach and evaluator at numerous player development camps.  A 1995 graduate of Knox College,  Hathaway holds two graduate degrees: M.S. in Sports Studies from Miami University (2000), and M.A. in Teaching from Colorado College (2009).  He is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach since 2002.

"I am thrilled to return home and reunite with the Tigers.  In my 25 years of working in the hockey business, many of my greatest memories are with CSAHA.  I'm honored to join such an impressive staff, and humbled for the opportunity to represent a first class organization.  Most importantly, I'm very excited to begin working with players to help them dream big and achieve success in hockey and life", said Hathaway on his return to the Tigers.
