Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association is dedicated to developing each and every player in our club to their individual potential through the best coaching, most advanced training methods and more ice time than is offered by other amateur hockey associations.

CSAHA is a unique, all encompassing program. Our club offers opportunities for all levels of players - including our Tigers Recreation leagues, Travel programs, Adaptive Hockey programs and the nationally recognized Tier 1 Tigers AAA (formerly known as the Pikes Peak Miners) teams.

With USA Hockey's national office located in Colorado Springs, CSAHA is very fortunate to have many members of their staff as coaches for our programs. CSAHA's staff works very closely with USA Hockey to develop age appropriate specific training programs that benefit all our players.

Our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible, and most enjoyable hockey experience for all our players. We appreciate you entrusting your player's hockey development to CSAHA.

Doris Donley
Adaptive Hockey Program Coordinator

Doris began working with the Sled Hockey in 2009, when her son asked if they could volunteer to help the Sled Hockey program. Even though this was something Doris had not previously done, as soon as she joined the Sled Hockey players on the ice she knew this was where she wanted to be. Since volunteering to work with the program, Doris has worked as an on/off ice volunteer, the Registrar, an Assistant Coach, VP of Player Recruitment/Public Relations and served as the Interim President of Colorado Springs Sled Hockey Association (CSSHA).

Along with taking classes at UCCS to help be a better advocate for the Sled Hockey program, Doris attended the 2013 USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Workshop and is participating in the 2014 USAH Annual Congress Disabled Hockey Seminars. She currently holds a Level 2 Coaching/Disabled Module certificate, and is completing her Level 3 certification in 2014. During her tenure with CSSHA, Doris worked to grow both the youth and adult programs, helped instituted use of the American Development Model program, invited the Paralympic Sled Hockey team to practice with CSSHA players prior to the 2014 Games, and facilitated the merger of CSSHA with Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association. She now serves as CSAHA’s VP of Disabled Hockey.

Doris lives in Colorado Springs with her husband.
